Lease Formulation

The days of formulating a lease at the courthouse and title-plant  are long gone.  Our database-linked GIS, lease creation software enables us to print 500+ leases a day using accurate legal information with notarization and legal description formats appropriate to the particular region. Our landmen do their best work in the field, contacting property owners  rather than doing tedious on-site courthouse work that  can limit an agent’s productivity.  You will not find  another company with production numbers rivaling those of Petrocasa Energy.  Our numbers come with accurate back-up information that  can be easily compared  and aren’t lacking for corroborating documentation. Our leases are professional and written in such a way that a lay person can work with them. The final lease packages we deliver to our clients are second to none.

Landowner Education and Cooperation

Our leasing departments are  proactive, not reactive. Our biggest asset is our ability to properly educate our potential Lessor’s.  We have held hundreds of community meetings, Question-and-Answer sessions, and lease-signing-parties in order to become more intimately involved in our project areas.  We have the opportunity to answer questions and concerns before they are raised.  These sessions make it easier on our leasing department,  as well as, the  for the companies we represent. Landowner concerns  can be allayed before they can take root.

Mapping

The Pangaea mapping crew is an integral part of the leasing department.  Our clients can readily see what we have leased and what other competitors have leased around us at any time.  We are able to provide updates on a minute’s notice of what tracts remain  and what tracts are  considered problem areas.

Tracking System

Every lease is clearly marked with a tracking number which enables us to track where it is in the completion process, whether leased, snagged, permitted, mailed, etc.  Our clients can have status reports of every lease at a simple request.  Petrocasa has the ability to print hundreds of leases daily with our proprietary advanced leasing DB program to assist our agents in the field complete their task ahead of schedule without delays.

State & Municipal Permitting

Petrocasa is  familiar with the processes necessary to get a well ready to drill.  We have been instrumental in  helping develop parts of the drilling ordinances in Willow Park, North Richland Hills, Keller, Hurst, Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Dallas and Midlothian, Texas. This same team succeeded in obtaining the first ever drilling permits approved in the City of Dallas, North Richland Hills, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Midlothian.

We can assist you with the permitting process

  • State and Federal permitting
  • Local municipal permitting for High Impact, Urban, or Rural wells.

Seismic Crew

Petrocasa also has several representatives that have collectively managed some of the most challenging and complex seismograph shoots in the nation.   We staff an outstanding group of individuals that perform each step in the seismic data acquisition process from the permitting, to determining mineral ownership, to riding herd over the surveyors and juggies.
  • With vast experience in the Urban (Inner City, Neighborhoods & Roof Tops) and Rural permitting, we can go anywhere to permit a job to completion.
  • Dialogue with shoot designers regarding things such as recording parameters and planned receiver/source point separation distances can keep permitting costs to a minimum and heavily congested areas can be delicately approached if not avoided.
  • Our GIS department can easily assist with mapping needs of and project updates for the client, surveyors, and recording crews in all phases of the seismograph and its preparation.  Integrated mapping processes, such as merging pre-plot information with culture datasets, can save time, money, and prevent mineral/surface trespass.
  • Many of our crew has worked on both 2D and 3D shoots that  have utilized both vibroseis sources and dynamite charges.

Permitting Production Rate

While we routinely carry a most respectable seismic permit closing rate, one of our agents has signed an unbelievable total of 57 permits in one day.  We have had multiple agents come close to that number, but it has yet to be surpassed. Needless to say, the Pangaea seismic crews put the maximum time and effort into getting every job ready to survey, usually before the requested completion time frame.

Petrocasa's mapping crew is a very integral part of the seismic department.  Our clients can readily see what can and cannot be shot, and we are able to provide updates on a minute’s notice of what tracts remain or what tracts are  considered problematic areas.
