  • Oversee title agents in researching mineral/royalty ownership from sovereignty to present, as well as identifying and completing curative items.
  • Assemble bi-weekly Title Priorities agenda and host WebEx meeting, noting any challenges and possible solutions.
  • Review lease expirations, drilling restrictions, and subordination status to facilitate the forming of units, including preparing P-12s, working with the surveyors to finalize plats, and preparing and filing Designation of Pooled Units.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel for lease purchase/drilling title opinions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes and forms for all phases of leasing and title.

Project Manager/Relocation Specialist  1999 – 2005
PHAROS Corporation (now HDR/PHAROS), Edmonds, WA and Fort Worth, TX

  • Negotiated and acquired real property rights (fee, easements, leases, permits, and licenses) from private landowners for public works projects in lieu of condemnation.
  • Utilized Relocation Assistance Certification (R/W-RAC) to manage Pharos’ relocation program from 2001 to 2004.
  • Resolved difficult title issues, cleared monetary liens and encumbrances, prepared acquisition documents, and closing instructions.
