HARDING ENERGY PARTNERS, EXXON MOBIL ANNOUNCE BARNETT
SHALE PARTNERSHIP
DALLAS, TX January 29th, 2007— Harding
Energy Partners announced today that
its affiliate, Cinco County Barnett Shale, LLC, has
entered into a new partnership with Metroplex
Barnett Shale LLC, (a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Exxon Mobil Corporation) for Barnett Shale gas
development in the eight-county area of Tarrant,
Johnson, Ellis, Dallas, Denton, Collin, Navarro and
Hill.
The new venture company, DDJET Limited LLP, was
formed effective December 20, 2006 and provides for
the efficient production and gas marketing of
Barnett Shale gas through an extensive existing
pipeline network. Over the past year, Harding
distinguished itself as the operator of an
earlier venture, replaced by DDJET Limited LLP, by
successfully permitting the first gas wells in
numerous municipalities, including Arlington, Grand
Prairie, North Richland Hills, and Midlothian.
Going forward in 2007, Harding (as Harding
Energy Partners, LLC) will continue to be
responsible for certain activities including
municipal permitting, lease clearances and lease
acquisition through its land / leasing contractor
Petrocasa Energy. Metroplex Barnett Shale LLC is
assuming responsibilities as General Partner and
operator.
HARDING ENERGY PARTNERS and DDJET
December 2006 -
DDJET Limited LLP is now leasing and drilling for
natural gas in the DFW Metroplex. Our interest is
based on our geological studies and the successful
yields of gas already being produced in the Barnett
Shale Formation. You may have seen the recent media
announcement that Harding Energy Partners affiliate, Cinco
County Barnett Shale LLC has entered into a new
partnership with Metroplex Barnett Shale LLC, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation.
Formed effective December 20th, 2006, DDJET provides
for the efficient production and marketing of
Barnett Shale Natural gas through an exclusive
existing pipeline network. Harding Company and
Petrocasa have been working in this area with Exxon
Mobil since June 2005. Our operations strictly
comply with all City ordinances and the rules of the
Texas Railroad Commission and the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality.
AUGUST 2008 - Cinco
County Barnett Shale, LLC (Cinco) has acquired the
assets of DDJET Limited LLP
This is a recent
update concerning Exxon/Metroplex ownership in
DDJET.
The DDJET gas
pipeline, ROW's, leases and assets have been
acquired by CINCO.
Cinco County Barnett Shale, LLC (Cinco),
a privately held company controlled by key
individuals who have led leasing, permitting,
exploration, and midstream activities in the Barnett
Shale, has acquired the assets of DDJET from
Metroplex Barnett Shale LLC's (Metroplex) (a wholly
owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation) in
North Texas.
Metroplex and Cinco were partners
in DDJET Limited LLP, a partnership that was
established in late 2006 for development of natural
gas production in Tarrant, Johnson, Ellis,
Dallas, Denton, Navarro, Collin and Hill Counties.
Cinco’s primary investor is Harding Energy Partners,
LLC (HE Partners).
